Once Upon A Time
Our story started when we first met in school; we were two lost students trying to find our ways and we found each other. We had no idea that this fateful meeting would one day lead to our shared journey as life partners in everything, from cosplay crafting, vintage dancing, and instant noodle cravings at midnight. ♡

Cosplay
Cosplay is currently the primary outlet for our creative passion as it combines our love of creating through crafting along with our love of nerdy media.​ Entirely self-taught, we love to push our creativity through sewing, pattern drafting, designing, appliqué, 3D modeling and printing, machine embroidery, foam work, resin casting, prop work, wig styling, and more.

Experiences
Our professional creative background includes work in both cosplay and non-cosplay fields. We are multi-award Master-level cosplayers and together we have served as event hosts, emcees / Masters of Ceremonies, performers, judges (cosplay contest, talent show, etc), vintage dancers, cosplay actors, Esports shoutcasters, and featured cosplay guests at multiple events and conventions, in addition to hosting panels with a wide range of topics including cosplay, educational, and fandom related topics. We worked as cast members and performed in immersive period productions and vintage dance events for several years. Mei was a professional model and John had apparel graphic design experience. Together, we have done live promotional modeling for a production, and our work has been published and featured across various outlets.

Vintage Dancing
Our style is rooted in partner and social vintage dances, and we both dance Lead and Follow roles interchangeably. Our dance background includes Rotary/Victorian Waltz (our favorite!), East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Polka, Cross-Step Waltz, 19th century Waltz variations (i.e. Redowa and Mazurka), English Country Dances (or their more modern variations as seen in Bridgerton), Quadrilles, and more. We have taught dance lessons and we love to dance with anyone and everyone!

When we're not crafting or cosplaying, you will find us vintage dancing, chasing good food, and exploring new places ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶
