Mo Dao Zu Shi is our first ever danmei (books, donghua, manhua, and live action) and we were so obsessed with Wangxian and their story that we had to make them. Wangxian is one of our oldest projects and our first ever danmei project!

For Weiying’s inner hanfu layer, we gradient-dyed a polyester fabric. Most of their detailings are from trims, manual applique, and heat transfer vinyl.
