Of five people, three must pay a price... but most importantly, two must have their cosplays made. 🤩Our first favorite Honkai Star Rail boys are completed! And we completed them just in time before Yinyue-jun's banner!

It took us about ~1.5 month to make both of them (some nights were with no sleep haha). As per our usual cup of tea (coffee??), we like adding personal touches to all our handmade cosplays, so we made changes and added our own original designs to them. We drafted the patterns from scratch using mock fabric and added the details with machine embroidery, cricut/stenciling, and some manual handstitching. We used pleather for some of the details and a little bit of EVA foam. Their props and most of the accessories were modeled on Blender and printed with PLA.

Blade
For our personal styling on Blade, we drafted lapels on his coat and made a spider lily brooch. While he has blue accents, we also added a little purple embroidery on his tails and some gold edges around the coat. Also had fun stylizing his sword. We did have to redo his coat construction when we realized we didn't like the length we originally drafted, so that was painful. Otherwise it wasn't too bad overall!

Imbibitor Lunae Dan Heng
Of the two, this guy was definitely the more difficult one to make. We stylized his hanfu sleeves and tails, and added a central panel as an original design. We also incorporated a couple things from the other Dan Heng design, such as the matching jade pendant that he has with Blade. Even though IL Dan Heng doesn't carry the Cloud Piercer, we wanted to make it to go with him anyway since Blade crafted the weapon for him, though we added our original dragon design on it.
