We can’t describe how excited we are to join Twisted Wonderland fam, starting with our favorite Pomefiore boys! 🥹 We talked about this project early 2025, planned it out, and started working on it in the summer. We actually started long before we found out about the anime’s announcement so hearing that news later was the nicest surprise. ♡

We used stretch velvet from Kiki Textiles for the main robe. The inner shirt is satin jacquard and inner shirt sleeves are stretch fabric. The robes and robes' sleeves are lined with satin jacquard and a black shimmery fabric over the jacquard.

We first drafted the patterns using an old robe pattern we made and modified further by draping on mock fabric. Patterning the sleeve’s shoulder split took some trial and error to figure out. The robe’s band was interfaced for it to stand the way we like. As our redesigns, we added original filigrees by digitizing our designs for machine embroidery and trinkets on the robe’s band, apple blossom designs across the robe, appliqué and bead trims on the belt and shoulders, and filigrees on the inner shirt which end up being completely covered (lol sigh). We also made necklace pendants and belt brooches inspired by their logos- bow/arrow for Rook and crown for Vil. The last jewelry pieces we made for them are their tassel decors where we designed a trinket and added their monogrammed initials onto it. We modeled all their trinkets and jewelries on Blender and printed with PLA.

And you know we love pockets! For Rook, we added double welt pockets on the back of the pants and also side pockets, though they're completely hidden. For Vil, we added side pockets to his robe since his pants aren’t easily accessible. Rook’s hat was patterned on paper, made with thick interfacing and wire along the brim, then covered with the same fabric and details as the robe, and finished with black jacquard lining. We modified the boots by splicing up the top, adding panels with pleather, and decorated them with gold vinyl details.
