Our favorite Sumeru pair! Together they took us a little under 3 months but with a few all nighters lol. We patterned both outfits manually and modified further using mock fabric, and frankly this is always the hardest phase for us since we're entirely self taught so we had to experiment a lot, not to mention Hoyo designs are always so challenging. The good thing is we do get to use a lot of leftover fabric for mock patterning. We modeled most of their accessories on Blender and printed with PLA. Both their visions were PLA frames with resin in the middle.

Alhaitham
His cape-collar thing was the most difficult to figure out for us, we had to redo our pattern drafting a few times. For his details, we used manual applique on his cape, also machine embroidery as well as different fabric types for detailing (i.e. pleather and trims). We added resin casting into a couple of his accessories for the different colors. The bigger details on his boots are made of EVA foam. We modeled his sword on Blender and printed with PLA.

In addition to machine embroidery we also used manual applique technique on his cape lining details. We also added pleather and trims, and a few manual stitching on various areas. For Mehrak, we upcycled an old storage box we had laying around and modeled the decorations on it, we also drilled and attached the handle. For Mehrak's eyes, we used an older tablet gifted by a friend and modeled a frame to insert it in, and made the eye animations using Animate and AfterEffects. Tbh the battery unfortunately doesn't last that long so we're gonna make a non-animated eye plate too.
